Ambassador of the Month
June 2010 - Ann Sulley

Ann Sulley is the branch manager for American National Bank (ANB) in Monument. She joined the ANB team in January 2008. Ann’s skills have proved to be a winning formula; hands-on experience in branch operations, strong interpersonal and communication skills, a dedication to team building and customer service as well as a commitment to community volunteerism. Ann has been a Chamber Ambassador for eight years and was named Ambassador of the Year in 2004.

Ann serves on the board of directors and as a classroom volunteer for Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado. She served on the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region board of directors for the Garden Ranch YMCA and still actively participates in the Partner’s Campaign. She is a member of the Academy Optimist Club. Ann was nominated as Volunteer of the Year for the Tri Lakes Chamber in 2009 and 2010. Most recently, she was the 2010 1st quarter recipient of the Community Corp Employee Volunteer Award at American National Bank.

Tammy Fogall is a Senior Advertising Account Executive for the Colorado Springs Military Newspaper Group. She has lived in Colorado Springs for the past 18 years. Previous to the military papers she worked at the United States Air Force Academy and the Colorado Springs Gazette. Tammy serves on many local boards and volunteers with non-profits. She also has a special heart for the military—her husband served in Iraq from 2009 to early 2010 and will retire for the Colorado National Guard soon.

Tammy lives in Fountain with her husband, 2 children and her dog. She loves to bowl, hang out with friends and meet new people!

Melissa DeSutter, Mosaic

Melissa DeSutter has served as the Community Relations Manager at Mosaic in Colorado Springs since September 2007. Mosaic is a nonprofit that creates possibilities for adults with intellectual disabilities through a variety of supportive services. Melissa, originally from the Chicagoland, has been a member of the Ambassador Club since July 2008.

Melissa's experience includes public relations, marketing, donor relations, volunteer management and recruitment, resource/staff development, special event coordination and management of quality assurance initiatives. Her previous roles include serving as a wellness coordinator and newspaper/magazine reporter. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in wellness management and gerontology from Ball State University.

In addition to the Ambassador Club, Melissa is a member of the Colorado Springs Chamber Rising Professionals, Public Relations Society of America and Academy Optimists Club. Melissa was recognized as an "Outstanding Supportive Services Professional" by the ARC of the Pikes Peak Region in May 2009 and "Rising Professional of the Year" by the Colorado Springs Chamber Rising Professionals in November 2009.
