Group Dividend Program
Members of the Chamber with good Workers Compensation loss history are eligible for an
additional 4% Association Discount from their Workers’ Compensation Insurance Premium with Pinnacol Assurance. The Chamber and Pinnacol Assurance sponsor the Workers Compensation Dividend Program. Brown & Brown, Hinkle Insurance Agency, Six & Geving Insurance, Inc., Van Gilder Insurance, and Wells Fargo Insurance administer this Group Dividend Program on behalf of the Chamber. The benefits of the Group Dividend Program include increased Safety and Awareness for your employees, the opportunity to obtain Cost Containment Certification, the additional 4% Association Discount and sharing in any future Group Dividends.

Chamber Members with good Workers’ Compensation loss history ratio receive the additional
Group Discount. The aforementioned brokers can also assist members in obtaining Cost
Containment Certification, an additional 5% discount.

• How large is the Chamber Group? Approx. $5 million premium, 200 members
• The benefits of being in the Group 4% up-front discount to eligible policyholders,
potential for annual dividends, Safety Seminars for Management and Employees
• Although Group Dividends are not guaranteed and have not been paid every year, the
average dividend returned over last five years is 10.8%
• This means that for every premium dollar spent, on average, $.10 per dollar is going back
to the Chamber members in the Group Association

The Chamber Workers Compensation Association is member managed, what does that mean? A Safety Committee, made up of at least six Chamber Members, manages the Group while receiving input from Pinnacol Assurance and participating Brokers.

What is required of Members to join and participate in the Chamber’s Association Program?
Initial 3 year Loss ratio under 70%, agree to complete a six step Safety Program in 2 years, attend annual safety seminar.
