MILITARY AFFAIRS COUNCIL
Formed
in 1941, the Chamber's Military Affairs Council is one of the oldest and
strongest in the country. Over 200 members pay an annual participation
fee in addition to their Chamber dues to be a member of the Council.
The Military Affairs Council actively supports a strong, effective
national defense and our uniformed services. Members develop and
maintain an environment which economically and culturally supports a
viable military presence in our community, and provides a superior
quality of life for its members.
The Chair of the MAC is also the Chair of the Military Affairs Division
Board. We currently have over 200 dedicated
members that support MAC and other military related activities of
the Chamber throughout the year. These include the following:
- Annual Armed Forces Week Activities
- Military Speakers Luncheons
- Hail and Farewell Receptions for our Military Leaders (MAC only)
- Farewell Dinners for the Senior Military Leaders (MAC only)
- Annual Military Job Fair
- Annual MAC/30 Group Holiday Reception (MAC only)
